Christina Milian and her daughter Violet can finally move onto the second phase of their lives as she has finally reached a divorce settlement with ex-husband The Dream. Get the deets inside…
In a recent statement , Christina’s attorney Randy Kessler revealed that the former couple reached their agreement in a "peaceful" manner.
Now, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Christina is expected to get a one-time payment of $4 million dollars plus $5,000 a month in child support for their daughter Violet in exchange for an ironclad promise to never say one word about The Dream or their relationship. Sounds peaceful enough to me.
Kessler said, "Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and that she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court."
The couple officially split up last January, with The-Dream releasing an emotional statement claiming that their relationship was "unsuccessful," and Christina saying that he was guilty of adultery.
And though The-Dream claimed that he attempted to commit suicide in July, because he was so distraught over their divorce, photos later surfaced of him and his personal assistant Melissa Santiago vacationing together. SMH.
Seems like Christina has the support of her mom so she won’t be totally alone as a single mother. Good luck Chris!
